I won’t write a positive review just for the sake of it, not for love or money, so if I’m raving about a thing, then trust me, I really do like it and endorse it.
The whole point of reviewing a product or service is to give the people who read me something to chew on and think about. My aim is to help the people who read me and develop discussions and conversations with like minded people.
Sometimes I’ll review things and won’t even get paid. I’ll just happen to like the thing or hate it so will say so. Other times it might be paid. Where this is the case I will specify it as (sponsored) or in easy to understand language like ‘this is a paid review’
