Hi Derek

I guess a lot of it is about what sites you are currently working with and how well they are doing too.

Between pretty good and very good is a nice place to be I'd say :D

BTW nice blog you have there, added to my subs.

I would put myself in the middle of pretty good and very good, but I chose pretty good. I used to know a lot about it, but have been slacking on the continued education for a while.

Ha! You and one other then Andy, two meglomaniacs in the same day! ;)

I'm with you on the knowledge comment. Learn learn learn learn learn and learn a bit more - it never stops.

I love those little conflicts too. Ive lost count of the little ding dongs Ive read of people posting viewpoint and counter viewpoint all trying to support their argument as the only possible truth, when the reality is that very few things can be tested in isolation, especially where there are multiple pinchpoints of fluctuating weight and variance.

I wasn't very modest ;)

In reality I probably know far less than most professional SEOs about so many aspects of SEO, and knowledge is about knowing how little you really know and striving to know more.

There are so many things that are conflicting in SEO that I am sure it is becoming more and more difficult to balance things even though there are multiple balance points.

Multiple answers to the same equation make things fun.
