		<description>I agree with this, there are plenty of ways to monetise a blog, other than affiliate marketing. Just don&#039;t do it too soon. Get the content, inlinks and traffic first. As for the niche, I&#039;m positive that you need to be have knowledge / enthusiasm for the subject, that will help you keep going in the lean times and help you beat your competitors. When researching keywords, if you see a high ranking site that hasn&#039;t been updated since 2007, then you should be in luck because blogs are fresh and search engines love fresh stuff.</description>
